love love love
I love this series so much! Can’t wait for book 3 to find out what they plan for the ball!
did not disappoint
Love this author. She writes tongue in cheek, yet manages to insert profound moments for her main characters. Unlike some others, she doesn’t have her characters repeat the same old mistakes over and over and over again. They learn and grow in a realistic way. More please!!!!
Kind of pissed
If I found out that mom and dad know what was happening to me and didn't tell me or train me to protect myself. And made me think I was lacking or not worthy. I would feel very betrayed.
Worth it...so worth it!
I have, admittedly, been eagerly waiting for this one ever since I read the previous book. I'm not someone who'd had been much into vampire books. Fortunately, the author featured the beginning of the first book in the Lowrance Vampires at the end of one of her other books. And I was hooked! Book 1 was an excellent read...it captured me with its good characters, plotting and story lines. Silent Stalker has taken everything about the first one I liked, and then just took it to places I would not have predicted! So looking forward to where this goes next!!!
More Lowrance Vampires please!
The author managed to surprise me a couple of times and made me laugh others. I really enjoy this interpretation of vampires and Emerick and Pepper's relationship has been fun to watch evolve over the first two books and I'm excited to see how they grow together in the future. Over all I really enjoyed this sequel to Blood Bound and look forward to the next installment in the series.
Holy twists and turns!
I’ve been eagerly waiting for this book since I first read (then re-read a few times) Blood Bound. I was not disappointed, in fact Silent Stalker exceeded my expectations. The plot twists, turns, and unexpected developments literally start from page 1 and keep coming. I didn’t want to stop reading, and have already started re-reading to really savor the book and pick up on things I missed in my first rush through. I love the characters and their interactions, and the dialogue - oh, the snark and humor, even in difficult situations. Books this good, worthy of re-reading, don’t come along every day, and I really appreciate it when one does. The next book will be a doozy, I’m really looking forward to it!
engaging
As with all of her books. I enjoyed this one tremendously. Pepper is truly fun to follow. But I have to admit Clarke really captured my attention. I highly recommend this series and this author
Loved this book!
I’ve read Blood Bound multiple times and I love the world that is created so I was very eager to read Silent Stalker. This book started with a twist and they just kept coming. Prior to reading this book I could have never anticipated where this story would go, but it was entertaining and there are some really comedic parts that kept some of the darker themes from feeling too dark. I have read a majority of the books written by this author under this name and I am really enjoying the world she is creating in these stories. Now I will probably reread the first 2 books in this series a couple of times while patiently waiting for the next one.
Excellent
As usual an excellent addition to my R.j.Blain collection. So far I've enjoyed everything she has written. Like with the other authors I enjoy I wish she'd write faster. I understand though she's a human with a life& needs to sleep. So I patiently await the next book. Bravo Ma'am
Pepper is definitely one of my favorite leading ladies!
This book has been a delightful twist on the way one can perceive things based on the information you have. Reading the first book, you immerse yourself in the story. Reading this one, with its plot twists, and you go "Wow! That makes sense!". Delightful way of looking at things from a different perspective, that just adds depth to the characters and the story ( Because real life is full of plot twists!). Bravo, RJ! Get another wonderful story for me to read over and over again.
